Our laser devices emits a concentrated light beam, which is absorbed by the hair’s melanin(dark pigment). The light energy converts into heat, damaging the hair follicle. The damage results in the follicle losing its ability to produce hair, slowing or preventing future hair growth.

Laser hair removal permanently reduces your hair growth. We aim to reduce hair growth by 80-90%. It is important to note the hair follicles may still produce some hair but it is often finer, lighter and fluffy. Following up on your treatments with regular maintenance top up sessions is important to achieve optimum long-lasting results.

We recommend 8-12 sessions, to achieve the desired long-lasting results. This does vary from person to person due to a few factors including hair/skin type, hormones, any medication taken and the area being lasered.

We advise yearly top up sessions to keep any stray hairs at bay.

There are three stages of hair growth and at any one time only around 10% of the hairs are in the correct stage of growth (anagen stage) for the laser to be effective. This is why you will need multiple sessions.

We schedule your sessions with 4-6 weeks in between each session, depending on the area and how far along you are in your treatment course. We will create a personal treatment plan for you at your consultation, prior to your course starting.

Our device features CRYO freeze tip precision cooling, the laser handle features sapphire plates which provide continuous cooling to the skin meaning sessions are more comfortable and safe. We can also apply ice packs to the area to provide an extra cooling/numbing effect.

Unfortunately red, white, blonde and grey hairs will not respond to the laser as they do not contain any melanin/dark pigment meaning it will not be effective.
